Tuesday

Sorry, we know it has been a long long time since we wrote anything on the blog. But we have been so busy over Christmas and our posters have been selling really well on Not On The Highstreet. Hurray!!!

We will soon release new posters for you all!

We would love to share our best-seller with you, 'The Family'. You can now not only add your dog or cat to the poster, but a rabbit or a fish bowl!

Are you all ready for Christmas? Got all your presents?

I was extremely organised in October (yes started early), but I have realised that there is so much more to organise...............simply don't have the time.

I am really looking forward to Christmas this year and the children are sooooo excited, they are counting the days!

Wednesday

Last Sunday I helped my very good friend Linda from Scandi Living  to run a stand at the Scandinavia Show at Olympia in London. Great opportunity to do a bit of research for our poster business and hand out lots and lots of flyers. Unfortunately we were fighting with the sun outside and the show wasn't as busy as the Saturday. Scandi Living had a great stall and attracted lots of visitors who were especially drawn to the Pappelina rugs. Of course I mentioned how hugely popular they are in Sweden and that almost half the population is walking on Pappelina rugs daily!! Hopefully soon Scandi Living will stock our posters!

So what can you expect from a Scandinavia Show more than great atmosphere, nice food, stylish design? Well there was nothing wrong with the food, in fact the food was really nice and authentic. They offered everything from the obvious herring to reindeer and some funny brown cheese from Norway which didn't go down well with the non-scandi people. And then of course Scandinavian Kitchen was there with a stall full of sweets, sweeets, sweeeets......

Regarding stylish design, you could certainly wish for more. Apart from my friend's stand, other businesses worth mentioning was Skandium selling the very best of Scandinavian design, Nordic Elements with fantastic beanbags and trays which you can make into wall units to store your collection of cars, robots, the Sylvanian Families etc. As an eBay addict rummaging through the pages searching for the best piece of vintage furniture I was VERY pleased to see and DROOL over the Danish-Homestore furniture... just wishing I had a couple of extra golden coins...

For next year I want MORE Scandinavian fashion, interior design and vodka, please!
Bye for now!

RAIN RAIN RAIN......come shine...SOOON I HOPE!!!! This must have been the worst autumn for a very long time! I seem to remember that last year we had an Indian summer with that autumn sun shining constantly. Well well at least it gives me the opportunity to do some clearing up at home...

I'm fairly good with getting rid of clothes and toys but what I forgot are all the shoes that have been gathering dust in the wardrobe, many of them hardly used AT ALL!!! Should I give to charity or perhaps try to sell on Ebay?? Would someone like to buy my shoes which are neither new and fashionable nor not yet vintage and cool?

Friday

Holiday time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry the website is taking a lot longer than we thought, building the shopping basket is not the easiest thing. But we promise you, that it will be up and running after the holiday period!!

In the meantime enjoy the summer and fingers crossed that the sun will be out a lot :)

Wednesday

we are really really SORRY!!!, can't believe we managed to delete ourself as administrators. Been in contact with facebook and there is nothing, nothing they can do :(. So here we go again (we hope this is the last time, NO we know this is the last time, we now got loads of administrators, so this can't happen again)....

Monday

Look at this amazing view!!! It is hard to believe that if I cycle 15 minutes one way, I get this (for 36 miles!!) and if I cycle for 15 minutes the other way I end up in the City!

I love cycling, love stopping for Sunday breakfast, love seeing my little girl so happy! Just wished I bought my bike years ago! and I wish my boys could come with me (Even if they are 9 and 11........not sure they can handle the narrow path without going straight into the water :)

Thursday

We are loving owls at the moment, don't know why really? Maybe it is because you hardly never see them, have you seen one?

I haven't but I have heard them...............their sound is amazing. Follow the link below to our facebook page to see which colours the above poster comes in!

Sunday

Did you know that the "London poster" comes in two different versions?..................(click on the above image if you want to have a closer look)

Friday

We can't wait to show you all our hard work.........................we promise to keep you updated, PROMISE. Have a fantastic sunny weekend.

Thursday

Why don't you tell your mum how much you love her?........................................

Monday

What an amazing weekend...........the sun was out. I bought myself a new bike on Friday with a child seat for my youngest one. She loved it so much that I almost thought she would go to bed with her helmet on!!!.
As soon as she got up in the morning she put her pink (oh yes she is into pink, only pink) helmet on and said, bike, bike NOW!. Took her for a long ride Saturday and Sunday, we stopped a couple of times in the sun, for a PINK ice cream!

What happened to spring? Gone? I want, I need sun.......................I do not function without sunshine :(.

I have always wondered why the coldest place in our park is the playground? The sun never finds it, the wind loves it and it always rains every time my kids wants to go there.

The park is being refurbished at the moment so the only place to get a coffee, is from the coffee van............OMG the queue of cold parents goes on for ever and ever and ever......................how do you explain to a three year old that mummy is cold, she NEEDS a coffee and you have to queue here with me for 15 min? So we didn't queue we went to the ice cream van instead ................................1-0 to my three year old (again :)

Saturday

After requests................can you guess what soon will be added to our posters?

We are having a Sunday meeting today, breakfast meeting at one of London's best markets and of course a lot of shopping ;). Who said you can't combine business and pleasure?
